BEST: Time with family. Our future son-in-law leading us in devotionals. My mother-in-law taking care of Christmas Eve AND Christmas Day dinners. Reading the entire "Secret of the Rose" series, snuggled in bed two days in a row, my husband being home with us, bouquet of flowers in memory of Cayden Matthew

WORST: One particular visitor. Recovering from labor and miscarriage. Not having a whole lot to do with Christ on CHRISTmas day. Being out of a routine.

Mostly, it was the best ever. I LOVE my family. So much fun watching them dance after a movie. Watching them play with their baby dolls and have tea parties. Watching them adore us even through our tough discipline. Having a pretty clean house most of Christmas season. Putting new underwear on our 2 year old just so he could pee in it. It was all a lark. Isn't parenting and marriage just that.....a lark? I mean, in the scope of finances, and housing, and grocery shopping. The kids and the husband are truly the icing on the cake!

Tally Ho and I ALREADY HAVE PLANS FOR THE NEW YEAR! YIKES!
