When I was little, we used to celebrate every Friday. We would set the table with mom's wedding China and crystal stemware. Mom would make homemade pizza and the 5 of us would split a coke (soda for Northerners).

For years we lived in a partially built house and all the fancy dishes were packed away. I still think that Fridays were made for celebrating.

I'm much more attracted to pottery mugs and stoneware than fine China, but I love having my coffee in "my" mug every morning. It makes me smile early in the day.
